Hillary Clinton says the question about the Supreme Court is really: What kind of country are we going to be?
She says court needs to stand on the side of the American people, for women's rights and against Citizens United.
Republican Donald Trump says the Supreme Court is what the country is about.
Trump then criticizes Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg for comments she made about him. He also says we need to uphold the Second Amendment. He says any justices he nominates will be pro-life and will interpret the Constitution the way the founders wanted it interpreted.
Like last week, the candidates did not shake hands at the start of the debate.
In answering a second question about the court, Hillary Clinton says she supports the Second Amendment -- the right to bear arms.
